Customers send damage photos to the business number. The owner has to pass them on to the repairer or estimator.

Customers ask where their parcel is or where to leave it. The driver on the road knows, the office phone does not.

Does it fit your business?
It does if three things are true: customers message one business number, the person with the answer is not the person holding the phone, and you want customers to keep using the number they know. It does not fit a support team where several agents answer side by side; see comparisons.
Typical customer messages per industry
The pattern is the same everywhere: the message arrives on the business number, but the answer is with someone else. This table shows who usually knows the answer.
Your industry is not listed?
The industry itself does not matter much. InBetween fits if three things are true: customers already message one business WhatsApp number, the person who can answer is not the person holding that phone, and customers should keep using the number they know. Setup is the same for every business: connect the number by QR code or pairing code, enter the coworker's number, done. The first 30 days of Pro+ are free without a card, and free Basic (25 customer messages per month) is enough to see whether it works for you.
When another solution fits better
- Several people answer at the same time. InBetween sends each conversation to one coworker at a time. For a team of agents a shared inbox is the better tool.
- You only want to say you are closed. The free away message in WhatsApp Business may be enough; see the away message alternative.
- You need an official Meta integration or campaigns. Then look at the WhatsApp Business API.
Good to know: the app dashboard is currently only in Dutch. Help with connecting is free via in.between.techsolutions@gmail.com.
Forward customer messages automatically. Replies go back from your number.

Frequently asked questions
My industry is not listed. Can I still use InBetween?
Yes. Nothing in the setup is industry specific. If customers message one business number and someone else should answer, it works the same way as for the industries on this page.
Can different coworkers handle the messages?
Yes, on Pro (up to 2 coworkers) or Pro+ (up to 20). New customers are offered to all of them and the first to answer Yes gets that customer. You can switch a customer or pause forwarding. If several people must answer the same chat side by side, a shared inbox fits better.
