Why people look for a ChatDaddy alternative
On Trustpilot, ChatDaddy had 13 reviews on 27 October 2026, of which 6 gave 1 or 2 stars. That is a small sample, so read it as a signal, not a verdict.
The complaints that come back in the low reviews are:
- Disconnects. Reviewers mention the software logging out or disconnecting from WhatsApp.
- Support. Several say support was slow, automated or did not answer.
- Complexity. Some found the software complicated for daily use.
Not every customer has these problems, and ChatDaddy does things InBetween does not.
What ChatDaddy is
ChatDaddy is a WhatsApp CRM and shared inbox that connects WhatsApp numbers for sales and support teams. ChatDaddy is built for teams that work in one CRM screen, with pipelines, broadcasts and automations.
How InBetween is different
InBetween does one thing: each customer message on your business number goes to one coworker, who answers in their own WhatsApp.
- Your existing number. Connected by QR code or pairing code, like WhatsApp Web. No API registration and no Meta verification.
- Coworkers answer in their own WhatsApp. A customer message arrives as "Customer 1". They reply with the normal WhatsApp reply function and the customer gets the answer from your business number.
- Flat price. 30 days of Pro+ free without a card, then €0, €87 or €142 per month. No fees per message.
- Cancel in one click. Your plan stays active until the end of the month you already paid for, then moves to the free Basic plan.
When ChatDaddy is the better choice
Choose ChatDaddy if you need what it is built for. ChatDaddy is built for teams that work in one CRM screen, with pipelines, broadcasts and automations. InBetween has fewer features on purpose.
Honest risk of InBetween
InBetween connects your number as a linked device, like WhatsApp Web. That is not an official Meta integration. WhatsApp can show a notice about a linked device, and like any unofficial tool there is a risk that WhatsApp restricts a number it sees as misuse. InBetween only forwards normal customer conversations, sends no bulk messages, and you can disconnect at any moment.
Switching to InBetween
- If your number is registered on the WhatsApp Business API, remove it from the API first. A number on the API cannot be connected by QR code.
- Create an InBetween account and enter the WhatsApp number of the coworker who should answer customers.
- Scan the QR code with your business phone under Settings, Linked devices.
- Send a test message and reply to it with the WhatsApp reply function.

Frequently asked questions
Is InBetween a full ChatDaddy replacement?
Only if what you need is forwarding customer WhatsApp messages to a coworker. InBetween has no shared inbox, chatbots or campaigns.
What happens to my money if I cancel InBetween?
You cancel with one click. You keep your plan until the end of the month you already paid for, then you move to the free Basic plan. No refund for the current month and no further charge.
Is InBetween an official WhatsApp or Meta integration?
No. InBetween uses the same linked-device technology as WhatsApp Web. That is why it works with your existing number and without the WhatsApp Business API. If you need an official Meta integration, a Business API platform is the better fit.
